HOBY State Leadership LHS Representative
Olivia Mosley represented Lafayette High School at the Mississippi HOBY State Leadership Seminar held May 30–June 1, 2025, at Mississippi College in Clinton. Each school across the state selected one standout sophomore, and Olivia was chosen for her character, leadership, and potential.
Reflecting on her experience, Olivia shared: “HOBY taught me so much about myself and leadership. Thank you for seeing the potential in me and giving me this opportunity.”

Lafayette Middle School cheerleaders recently participated in a UCA Home Camp and represented our district with excellence! The team earned a Superior Trophy and Ribbon, with 7 students named UCA All-Americans and 6 individual ribbons awarded by their camp leader.

Emily Norwood is the Lafayette Softball Head Coach. Norwood is a Lafayette 2016 graduate & continued her softball career with Jones College where she was a part of the National Championship teams. She joined the Commodore coaching staff in 2020 as an assistant.
